When searching for a holiday home in Europe, you may be surprised by the difference in price from country to country.
Italy has some of the keenest priced properties on the market – making it a great choice for those on a budget, with unbeatable coastlines and landscapes adding to the charm. Access is easy and cheap too, with plenty of budget flights from the UK on offer.
While the better-established property markets in Rome, the northern lakes and the posher parts of Tuscany have fewer inexpensive properties nowadays, there are plenty of lesser-known areas with untapped property potential if you know where to look.
Here we’ve compiled a selection of lovely properties on the market around Italy currently for sale for under €50,000.
