Now that Taylor Swift has excommunicated Blake Lively from her famously starry squad, the Gossip Girl alum has moved on with a fresh pack of unexpected pals.
Though, her new friends are a far cry from the notable names she used to spend time with alongside Swift.
The self-professed ‘besties’ had been close for years, but haven’t been seen together since October amid the ongoing legal battle with Lively’s It Ends with Us costar, Justin Baldoni, Swift was unceremoniously dragged into.
Swift, who is godmother to Lively’s three daughters, took a step back from their decade-long friendship after news broke that she was set to be subpoenaed amid the escalating legal battle – and her loyal squad followed.
Lively was not only iced out by Swift, she was also noticeably absent from Gigi Hadid‘s birthday bash in May.
Swift’s NFL star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, publicly unfollowed Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, even though the couples were previously inseparable. The unfollows and lack of invitations all came after Swift, 35, was said to have felt ‘betrayed’ and ‘exploited’ by Lively.

Lively, 37, is now leaning on a surprise group following the dismissal of Baldoni‘s $400 million defamation suit against her, Reynolds, the New York Times, her publicist Leslie Sloane and her PR firm, Vision.
While her half-sister, actress ROBYN LIVELY, has been standing by her side, she’s also been gathering a bevvy of celebrities for support. In a dramatic twist, Lively has seemingly replaced her old ‘squad’ with a whole new crew, including her young niece, a hunky Italian sex symbol and a former Olympic gymnast.
One new bestie might just be a blast from the past. Lively and SALMA HAYEK, 55, have been spotted enjoying nights out on the town after starring together in the 2012 film Savages. Reynolds also worked with Hayek on 2017’s The Hitman’s Bodyguard and its 2021 sequel Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard.
Hayek, an Oscar nominated actress, recently spoke out in support of the beleaguered star. She told E! News she had been friends with Lively and Reynolds for a ‘long time’ and was ‘close’ with their four children. ‘I got a chance to go play with them. They got to see their Tía Salma,’ she said about their tight bond.
This isn’t the first time Hayek has praised Lively publicly. In 2017 at Variety’s Power of Women event she said, ‘I still have never met anybody that at such an early stage in their life had such a sense of self, so much courage.’
Hayek and Lively have also spent time with Robyn, 53, who starred in Teen Witch. Robyn has not left her half-sister’s side throughout the brutal fallout from the court case. Lively is also clinging to her niece – daughter of Robyn and husband Bart Johnson – KATE JOHNSON, 20.
Johnson is now the protégé of the embattled A-lister, who has been a stalwart presence for her aunt. The pair have even been hitting red carpets together in coordinating ensembles. Johnson has just under 6,500 followers on Instagram and keeps a relatively low profile while her dazzling aunt has 43.4 million followers.
Lively has also seemingly added some laughs to her life courtesy of a comic couple. Fans have noticed ROB MCELHENNEY AND KAITLIN OLSON‘s glow up, and that includes their celebrity friendships.
McElhenney, who co-owns Wrexham football club with Reynolds, has been quietly supporting the Deadpool actor and his wife behind the scenes.
The couple – who both star in It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia – seem to be standing behind Lively and Reynolds throughout their legal drama. McElhenney told Variety they’ve been tight-lipped but ‘are just trying to offer our support in any way that we can that doesn’t just simply add oxygen to the fire.’
Despite the quiet show of support, Lively and Olson do not seem particularly close – in fact, they do not even follow each other on Instagram.

Another co-star sticking by Lively’s side is MICHELE MORRONE, who famously starred in the wildly raunchy Netflix hit 365 Days. The handsome Italian actor, who appeared alongside Lively in the sequel to A Simple Favor, recalled seeing Lively in ‘pain’ after she wrapped filming It Ends With Us.
He even took to his Instagram story to share a heartfelt video message standing in solidarity with the actress. ‘So it’s usually not my thing to make these types of videos, but I think it’s time to stand up for a person I really love and this person is Blake Lively,’ the sex symbol said in support of his co-star.
He recalled, ‘We shot this incredible film together, and I felt something was wrong, and I felt the pain and then we had the opportunity to talk, me and her,’ adding that he was tired of seeing ‘cruel and bad comments about her without knowing the situation.’
Morrone even stood by the superstar couple amid the lawsuit, posing with them on a night out earlier this year and sharing an Instagram post in which he tagged them and wrote, ‘Missed you guys! Love you!!’
JOANNA AND CHIP GAINES, of Fixer Upper, have had an on-again-off-again friendship with Lively, but they appear to be pals at the moment. While Lively had an icy run-in with one of her fans at the Fixer Upper star’s Texas hotel in March, she’s since been spotted with the Gaines’ and they were all smiles.
Though, reuniting doesn’t mean Lively agrees with everything they say or do. The Gaines’ have dealt with a slew of controversies themselves over the years.
An insider exclusively revealed to the Daily Mail that ‘Blake and Ryan are friends of the Gaines’, but that does not mean that they align with all their views.’ While the Fixer Upper couple don’t define their political views, they did attend a church that espoused anti-LGBTQ beliefs.

Former Olympic gymnast ALY RAISMAN (right) is yet another new addition to the Lively fan club
‘Blake and Ryan have a lot of friends and the great thing about friendships is that they do not have to agree on everything,’ the insider continued. Lively became a huge fan of the show a decade ago and has said many times that she was obsessed with it.
Former Olympic gymnast ALY RAISMAN is yet another new addition to the Lively fan club. They’ve posed it up together at Wrexham, with Lively proudly sharing pictures of the gold medalist, 31, with her millions of followers.
DEMI MOORE, 62, is one more surprisingly staunch supporter of Lively and could potentially be on the way to being a member of her inner circle.
Moore kicked off quite the controversy when she struck a pose with Lively at the Time 100 Gala alongside Georgina Chapman, Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife.
An insider previously told Daily Mail, ‘Demi is supporting Blake and she finds it disturbing that she is getting so much hate.’
