Caitlin Clark will return from her groin injury and play for the Indiana Fever after missing five straight games on Wednesday night against the Golden State Valkyries.
Clark has missed 10 games overall this season after also suffering a quadriceps injury in late May.
Clark last played on June 24 against the Seattle Storm, with the Fever going 3-2 without her over the last two weeks.
The Fever phenom’s last game out of the lineup on Saturday saw her teammates blow a fourth-quarter lead in the final minute of an eventual 89-87 defeat to the Los Angeles Sparks.
Clark does not know how long she will play in Wednesday’s game, with a minutes restriction possibly being placed on the point guard.
‘I think its just nice to get back out there and get in the flow of playing with my teammates again and it’s going to be fun to get back out there hopefully and just feel things again,’ Clark said during Tuesday’s practice.
