NBA and NFL broadcaster Taylor Rooks stunned the internet when it was revealed that she’s tied the knot with a mystery man named ‘Shane’.
Images of Rooks looking glamorous in white and smiling in the arms of her new husband hit the internet late on Tuesday night.
The veteran NBA reporter posted a gallery of images to Instagram with the caption, ‘What a night. This is love’ along with a list of people who helped with her look.
A number of high profile celebrities and athletes were present at the wedding ceremony held in New York City.
NBA stars Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and Donovan Mitchell were seen in photos, as was NFL running back Saquon Barkley and musicians Jack Harlow, Coco Jones, and Ella Mai.
Others there from the world of sports included her industry colleague Maria Taylor of NBC Sports as well as Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin. Former Fox Sports broadcaster Joy Taylor appears to be one of Rooks’ bridesmaids.

Rooks is in the process of moving to Prime Video to host their new NBA studio show in 2025
‘So happy for my girl,’ Joy wrote in an Instagram Story post of her own. ‘Love you sis!’
The only clue to the identity of her mystery man given in the post was a shot of one of the menus at the wedding which read, ‘Welcome Taylor & Shane NYC 2025’.
This is one of many big changes coming in Rooks’ life. Earlier in the year, she was a part of some of the final pieces of coverage for the NBA on TNT.
Now, with the league entering a new TV rights deal, Rooks is off to Amazon to be the host for Prime Video’s new NBA studio show – which will also feature Hall-of-Famer Dirk Nowitzki and Blake Griffin.
‘I’m thrilled to continue to grow my role at Prime Video and help shape their NBA coverage from the ground up,’ Rooks said in a statement in January.
‘With the addition of legends like Dirk and Blake, we’re not just building a show, we are crafting an experience that will be entertaining and truly special for basketball fans.
‘This is a career milestone for me and I’m incredibly excited to share my love and passion for this game with NBA fans all over the world.’
