Donald Trump allies trying to purge ‘deep state’ bad-faith actors from the administration have notched another victory.
Anna Falcon Doss, who was appointed as the National Security Agency’s general counsel during the Biden Administration in 2022, appears to no longer be with the agency.
A web page with her bio was no longer operative on Wednesday, following reports of her ouster.
She had been the subject of a critical piece in the conservative Daily Wire that exposed her continued government work despite serving as senior counsel on the Senate Intelligence Committee’s probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
As such, she was the senior lawyer for Committee Democrats led by Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), who has repeatedly – and falsely – accused Trump of being involved in Russia‘s influence campaign.
He called out ‘unprecedented level of contacts from Russians and their agents with the Trump campaign’ in 2016, which turned out to be false.
Conservative activist Laura Loomer was one of the most vocal pressing for the removal of Doss online.
Loomer has been urging the firing and removal of officials across government she considers disloyal to Trump, and has successfully called for the ouster of numerous White House National Security Council officials.

Former National Security Agency general counsel Anna Falcon Doss has reportedly been removed from her post and a web page with her bio information is now inoperative
‘Very productive day today. It’s very important that we protect President Trump. We have only one year left to stop the Communist takeover of America,’ wrote Loomer.
On Tuesday, Loomer was calling for the removal of ‘dozens’ of security officials who had signed onto a 2019 national security letter condemning Trump and accusing him of inviting election interference.
Back in April, Loomer took credit to putting information on ‘disloyal’ officials before Trump, who she supports and traveled with a few times during the campaign, meeting resistance from staff.
‘You know how you know the NSC officials I reported to President Trump are disloyal people who have played a role in sabotaging Donald Trump?’ she asked, then noting they were being defended on CNN and CNBC, two networks Trump regularly attacks.
Trump has long fumed about leaks and officials during in his first term he believed undermined the MAGA agenda or otherwise resisted his political and policy moves.
The firing comes days after the release of explosive new material about the fashioning of a 2017 U.S. Intelligence Community memo that stated that Russia preferred Trump in the elections, finding elements of sloppy tradecraft.
It included declassified documents and a 2020 report on the matter by the House Intelligence Committee, then led by Trump ally former Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.)
Loomer took credit for the removal in a text to the New York Times, where she said she ‘reposted a tweet that exposed her last week and flagged it for the right people.’ Multiple officials told the paper she had been removed from her post.
The Senate report Doss worked on did not conclude that the Trump camp coordinated with Russia during the campaign.
However, it did probe interactions between campaign officials and Russians, including former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort, who provided internal poll information to Konstantin Kilimnik, identified by the panel as linked to Russian intelligence.

Right wing activist Laura Loomer took credit for the firing and pushed for the ouster of other security officials previously sacked

President Trump continues to rail against the Russia ‘hoax’ and accused Barack Obama of ‘treason’ for commissioning an intelligence community report about it
‘Taken as a whole, Manafort’s high-level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik, represented a grave counterintelligence threat,’ it found.
Republicans on the panel including then-Sen. Marco Rubio signed onto an additional statement saying that while Russia ‘inappropriately meddled,’ Trump ‘was not complicit.’
Warner said the removal ‘appears to be the result of a politically motivated smear campaign.’
The Daily Mail has contacted the White House and the NSA for comment.
Loomer also took credit for ousting former NSA Director Gen. Timothy Haugh and his deputy, Wendy Noble.
The agency processes and analyzes myriad bits of complex electronic intelligence information, and must wade through complex legislation establishing guardrails intended to protect American citizens from improper snooping.
