Three people have been shot in Times Square with emergency services rushing to the scene in the early hours of the morning.
One woman, 18 and two men, 19 and 65, have been injured after violence erupted in the popular tourist hotspot in the heart of New York City on Saturday.
Reports on social media claimed that three people were shot, while a suspect has been taken into custody after the chaos unfolded at around 1:20am.
Video footage from the scene appeared to show one person on a stretcher being wheeled into an ambulance surrounded by police officers.
