YouTuber Emily Canham is expecting her first child with her secret fiancé, she announced on Wednesday.
The influencer, who is originally from Kettering but now lives in Los Angeles, split from Busted’s James Bourne in 2023 and has since moved on.
Sharing an update to Instagram, Emily revealed the name of her partner, Mark Herrema, who was previously unknown, when she tagged him in her announcement.
She wrote: ‘I’m quite simply over the moon to share that we have a baby on the way. I’ve never been more excited for a chapter in my life.
‘Family means so much to me and I still can’t believe I get to start one of my own with my fiancé(!!).
‘Feeling overwhelmingly grateful and honestly just crazy excited to be a mom.’

Emily’s partner Mark is an entrepreneur from California who co-founded sustainability company Newlight technologies.
Emily called it quits with Busted’s James in 2023 and was said at the time to be ‘happily moving on.’
A source told The Sun: ‘James and Emily have called it quits and are each happily moving on with their lives.
‘James has been non-stop with the tour and managing his time between the UK and his place in LA.’
In 2019, Emily and James were said to be ‘taking things slowly’ because of their 14-year age gap.
She previously went through a very public breakup with fellow YouTuber Jake Boys in February 2017 who she dated for three years – after she claimed she discovered he was ‘talking to lots of other women’.
She met with him in November 2019 to film ‘the breakup video we never made’.
Emily later went on to meet James through his brother and admitted she wasn’t a fan of the band’s music in an interview with Daily Mail: ‘When Busted were big back in the day, it wasn’t really my thing.’

The influencer added: ‘I only really discovered Busted when McFly toured with them and I just thought wow this is cool, I like their music. It wasn’t like I had been a fan of him since I was young.’
Emily said she and James were friends for a year or so and then started dating – but she didn’t want the relationship to develop too quickly due to the 14-year age gap.
Emily said: ‘I was like well I don’t know what this is, there is a large age gap between us, I wanted to know his intentions before absolutely anything so, it was a friendship for quite a while before anything turned into anything.’
At the time she admitted the couple hadn’t made any firm decisions about the future.
‘They key thing is we are so happy but our careers are such a massive thing for both of us that it is just as important if that makes sense,’ she explained.
‘If he is in London, he can be at mine, if we are in LA, I can be at his. There is no need to get one place together, when we both have a place each that if we are in that country, we can be at that place.’
