Kyle Sandilands has received an outpouring of support from his A-list friends following a shock health scare last week.
The radio star, 54, who is currently battling a brain aneurysm, alarmed listeners last week when he stumbled over his words on air and quipped he might have suffered a stroke.
On Monday, Kyle said several of his celebrity friends had reached out after taking his comments seriously.
‘Russell Crowe didn’t know [it was a joke]. Got a message from him at three in the morning from God knows where,’ Kyle began.
‘Karl Stefanovic was fooled as well. He sends me a message on Friday, “Bro, the stroke. F**k, are you okay?”.’
Kyle admitted he would think twice before joking about his health again after the gag left family and friends in a panic.

‘By the way, next time I stumble over a word and make a joke about having a stroke, how about not writing it in the newspaper so my mum actually thinks I’ve had a stroke?’ he said.
‘It’s unbelievable. My mum’s away up in Queensland and she opened Facebook to read “Sandilands off-air due to stroke”.’
Kyle was mysteriously absent from his KIIS FM breakfast show on Thursday after saying he thought he had a ‘stroke’ earlier in the week.
The presenter surprised listeners with a self-diagnosis as to why he was fumbling his words during the first hour of The Kyle & Jackie O show on Tuesday.
The shock jock abruptly declared, ‘I think I’ve had a stroke’ after completing the regular ‘Tradie V Lady’ quiz segment during Tuesday’s episode.
‘I feel I’ve said the wrong words multiple times this morning, and I’m not super tired,’ he continued.
Jackie, unsure whether Kyle was joking, defended her on-air partner.
‘No, you haven’t,’ she assured her co-host.

Kyle then explained he had messed up reading an announcement about a prize for the quiz.
A producer on the show agreed, noting that earlier that morning, Kyle had confused the word ‘mattock’ with ‘matlock’.
Kyle completed Tuesday’s episode and was on air again alongside regular co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on Wednesday, but absent on Thursday.
It comes after Kyle revealed a major milestone in his health journey.
Kyle, who is on a health kick after his shock brain aneurysm announcement in February, addressed his progress after a week of exercise and dieting.
In the radio segment, Jackie, 50, reminded listeners of Kyle’s goal to take ‘baby steps’ to inspire others who are struggling with their weight, a program the hosts have cheekily dubbed ‘Kyle’s Big Fatso Club’.
‘Fatso Club started a week ago. Your whole initiative with this was to give people baby steps and make it doable for the big fatsos,’ she began.
‘Your original weigh-in weight last week was 139.7 kilos,’ she said, before revealing Kyle’s updated weight after a week of lifestyle changes.
‘Even if I’ve not lost anything, I’m still going to continue,’ he confessed, as he hopped onto the scale.
The result prompted an audible gasp from Jackie, who revealed Kyle’s shock new weight: 137.3 kilograms.
In February, the media personality revealed to listeners he had been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, prompting an outpouring of public support, and said his doctor had banned him from cocaine, masturbation, heavy lifting and stress.
