A humble fish and chip shop 45 minutes away from the Sydney CBD has caught the attention of hundreds of foodies.
Fish Fish, located in Penrith and Edmondson Park, has impressed customers with its crunchy potato scallops, tender fish, creamy tartare sauce, and the ‘best’ chips around.
Customers are travelling across Sydney to get their hands on the seafood feast.
Annie Nguyen, of Annie’s Bucket List, visited the popular venue for the second time earlier this week and was wowed by the flavoursome range on offer.
‘I think these are the best fish and chips in Western Sydney,’ she declared in a now-viral Instagram video.
She ordered the family pack for $54.90 which included two pieces of battered fish, four fish cocktails, four calamari rings, four potato scallops and a large chips.
‘I got the potato scallops last time and they were so good. I love the chicken salt that they put on them,’ she said.
The fish pieces were also ‘the size of her head’ and she was amazed by the crunchy coating and tender centre.

‘It’s the type of fish you can just pull apart,’ she said and described the fish cocktail as ‘melt in your mouth’.
‘They have the best chicken salt on their fries. It’s so so good and halal friendly.’
Annie’s video has since exceeded more than 392,000 views and other foodies shared their enthusiasm.
‘Yum I’m obsessed with potato scallops,’ one wrote.
‘I’m intrigued to try,’ another commented.
‘Omg the whole cup of tartare! Looks so good,’ another added.

With a Google rating of 4.5 stars out of five, customers raved about Fish Fish, saying it’s their new ‘go-to’ takeaway shop – even if they have to travel for it.
‘Looked up this place while I was in Singapore, and the ‘best fish and chips’ on Google showed Fish Fish – did not disappoint. It was so good we ordered seconds,’ one wrote.
‘Finally got to try Fish Fish. So worth the 25 minutes drive. Everything was delicious,’ another said.
‘Great place for an old-school style fish, chips or burgers,’ a third added.
‘Great tasty food, friendly staff, and the food was made quick and packaged well,’ another said.
