Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman got on like a house on fire as they met on the red carpet of their new film Tuner on Monday night.
The new thriller had its premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival at Princess of Wales Theatre.
Leo, 28, and Dustin, 88, play the lead roles, with Leo’s character Niki a keen piano player that finds himself caught up in a gang of thieves.
Dustin plays Niki’s mentor in the film, which is set for a UK release date in 2026.
Pictures from the premiere in Toronto show both men appear like lifelong friends as they caught up in front of the cameras.
Boasting big laughs, the pair were engrossed in conversation and at some points seemed to forget the cameras were on them.

Leo sported a check wool blend bomber jacket over a shirt and navy tie, completing his look with suit trousers.
Dustin also looked dapper, wearing a white shirt under a navy suit jacket, pairing the look with a black pair of chinos.
Their animated display on the red carpet comes after Leo revealed how he had a crippling fear about working with Dustin.
He explained to Variety: ‘To be honest, I had crippling fear at the beginning, because you don’t want to be shit for someone like Dustin Hoffman.
‘And you’re so much more insecure and self-conscious. You can overthink shit. And so the first couple of days, I threw myself into it, and we improvised a lot on the first day, too.
‘But it took a few shooting days for me to kind of feel comfortable and confident and excited to really go at it with him for these 15-20 minute improvs.
‘If you told me before we started shooting that I would be doing 20-minute improvs with Dustin Hoffman, I probably would have quit the movie. I would have been too scared, but it was the most fun I’ve ever had acting.’
Dustin’s appearance at the premiere is a rare outing for the star these days.
