When Olivia Attwood wrapped up filming for the second series of her hit ITV reality show Bad Boyfriends – in which she helps ‘reform’ troublesome partners – the Love Island star had no idea she’d be facing her own relationship crisis in the lead-up to its release on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail last week, Olivia admitted that she and her footballer husband Bradley Dack have endured a ‘challenging six months’, confessing they’ve both ‘f***ed up’ – but stressed that they were working through it together.
So fans were delighted to see that Bradley turned up to support her last night at a star-studded event to put the marriage rumours to rest.
However, I can reveal that not all was as it seemed – and that trouble in the Dack-Attwood household may still be brewing.
On Thursday evening, the ITV darling, 34, hosted an exclusive party to launch her new clothing collection with high street brand River Island.

At one point, I saw Olivia and Brad engaged in a tense conversation. Brad looked eager to leave and indeed he made a swift exit just before 10pm, barely saying goodbye to Olivia

On Thursday evening, the ITV darling, 34, hosted an exclusive party to launch her new clothing collection with high street brand River Island
Inviting influencers, journalists and some of her closest friends, she hired out the Mistress of Mayfair restaurant for the night.
Brad snuck into the bar solo and the footballer for Gillingham FC made a beeline for his best friend and ex-Love Islander Ronnie Vint, 29, who had arrived earlier on his own.
The two sat in a booth in the corner of the room chatting and laughing with Too Hot To Handle contestant Sebastian Melrose, apparently awaiting Olivia’s arrival.
She turned up with great fanfare five minutes later, smiling, waving and posing for photos, before greeting her Bad Boyfriends castmates and other friends.
Tellingly, only then did Olivia make her way over to the booth in the corner and peck her husband hello before she continued to work the room.
Brad stayed by her side, silently following behind her as she spoke to other people.
Oddly, the couple never once posed for a photo together – unusual for celebrity couples at events like these.
A source told me: ‘Thank god Brad turned up, it was about time they put those rumours to bed. But there does seem like a lot of tension there, they’ve barely said anything to each other all night or got any photos.’
Still, the evening wore on. Arancini and lobster rolls were handed out on platters, as waiters topped up glasses of prosecco and cocktails.
A lavish red velvet cake was presented to Olivia to congratulate her on the River Island collection.

Olivia cosying up to longtime pal and Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks during a messy trip to Ibiza last month
Strangely, Brad didn’t have a single bite to eat or a sip to drink.
At one point, I saw the pair engaged in a tense conversation. Brad looked eager to leave and indeed he made a swift exit just before 10pm, barely saying goodbye to Olivia.
Party girl Olivia, however, stayed until the bitter end at midnight, drinking and giggling at the bar with a gaggle of friends.
Clearly, relationship rumours weren’t going to stop her having a good time.
This was Olivia’s first formal public appearance since she hit headlines after being pictured cosying up to longtime pal and Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks during a messy trip to Ibiza last month.
Leaked images showed Pete with his arm draped around a bikini-clad Olivia on a yacht during a drunken boat party on the White Isle.
The image prompted backlash online, as well as unsavoury chants aimed at Brad by football fans watching him play at a match.
The ensuing furore even sparked a feud with Olivia’s closest friend Ryan Kay, her former assistant, who has reportedly cut the TV presenter out of his life completely. Usually by her side at most events, he was missing from the Mayfair party last night – as was Pete Wicks.
Olivia has admitted she can understand why the images made her footballer husband ‘upset’ and confessed her marriage was a ‘work in progress’ on Wednesday morning during an appearance on Lorraine.
She told the Mail that she and Bradley are determined to overcome what she describes as ‘difficult times’ sparked by their incredibly busy work schedules.
Olivia said: ‘Me and Brad never pretend to have a perfect relationship, we have been up, down, left, backwards, and the last six months have been really challenging for us.
‘My work and his work take precedence over everything, we have to navigate our relationship all the time.
‘It’s the boring side of being an adult in a long term relationship, we constantly have to work at it and that’s just the truth.’
As she continues to go from strength to strength in her career, the question remains: will Brad be by her side throughout it all?
