The Cincinnati Bengals have added two quarterbacks to their practice squad after backup Jake Browning led the team to a Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in lieu of the injured Joe Burrow.
As first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cincinnati has added quarterbacks Sean Clifford and Mike White to their practice squad, which already includes journeyman backup Brett Rypien.
Burrow is expected to miss at least three months following toe surgery, which became necessary after he was hurt in the second quarter of Sunday’s win. It’s unclear which of the new quarterbacks, if any of them, will be promoted to the team’s 53-man roster.
