The brand new cast of Dancing With the Stars hit the ballroom for the highly anticipated Season 34 premiere on Tuesday.
Alec Baldwin‘s wife Hilaria Baldwin had an emotional start to her journey on the show, as she nearly broke down in tears after dancing the cha cha with partner Gleb Savchenko.
The mother-of-seven called the experience very ’emotional’, as her husband and three of their children sat in the audience and watched her.
The Yoga instructor, who danced to Let’s Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez, received a 7 from judges Derek and Bruno for a total score of 14 out of 20.
Despite positive feedback from the judges, fans made a grim prediction about her future on the show, speculating that she’ll be going home first.
Other cast members this season include Corey Feldman, Alix Earle, Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Jordan Chiles, Baron Davis, Elaine Hendrix, Scott Hoying, Dylan Efron, Andy Richter, Danielle Fishel, and Lauren Jauregui.

At the start of the show, fans called out ‘messy’ judge Bruno Tonioli, 69, after he issued a last minute score change to Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney, 32.
After dancing the Tango with partner Mark Ballas, Bruno and fellow judge Derek Hough, 40 — who were the only two judges for the premiere, after Carrie Ann Inaba pulled out due to illness — were impressed, initially both giving her a 7 each, for a total score of 14.
Though Bruno held out a paddle with the number 7, it was revealed that he had actually keyed in a score of 8, changing Whitney’s total to 15.
‘We already have bruno messing up the scores and it’s 4 dances in,’ one frustrated fan wrote.
‘If there is one thing you can count on, its bruno thirsting, getting distracted and putting in the wrong score #dwts,’ another added.
‘Gonna need Bruno to “accidentally” plug in some 10s for my favorites in a couple weeks….’
‘bruno messing up his score [crying emoji],’ another wrote.
‘Bruno is so messy, live laugh love him #DWTS.’
Host Alfonso Ribeiro explained the score hiccup: ‘Our judges key in their scores right after the dance, and then they are locked, regardless of which paddle they hold up. We go with their locked score. Bruno keyed in an 8, so Whitney’s total was 15.’
‘They should lock me up,’ Bruno joked right after.
The start of this season has not been without surprises. Just hours before Tuesday night’s premiere, judge Carrie Ann, 57, sparked concern after announcing she would miss the show due to health issues.
Despite her absence, a new judge did not fill in for her. The show continued with only Derek, 40, and Bruno at the judges’ table, and the performances were scored on a scale of 20, rather than the usual 30.
Alfonso addressed her absence at the start of the show, stating, ‘It’s great to have all of you at home joining us in the ballroom and wonderful to see our judges. Well, two of them. Carrie Ann is under the weather and hopes to be back with us next week.’

Earlier in the day Inaba revealed she would not be present in the ballroom to watch the new cast — which has been dubbed ‘lazy’ — perform due to not feeling well.
‘I wanted to share that I will not be at the show tonight as I am feeling quite under the weather,’ she shared in a surprising Instagram announcement on Tuesday, just hours before showtime.
‘I’m resting up and can’t wait to be back next week in good health,’ she added.
Inaba wrapped up her statement writing, ‘In the meantime, I wish all the contestants the very best of luck. I’ll be cheering you on from home. Have a great show everyone!’

Her announcement saw an outpouring of well wishes, with DWTS pro Britt Stewart commenting, ‘Hope you feel better Carrie Ann!’
Meanwhile Derek left two red-heart emojis.
His sister, Julianne Hough, added ‘Get better soon sis.’
Some fans were concerned, with one noting that Inaba ‘has never missed a show in 20 years!!!!’
Inaba has been a fixture on the Dancing With the Stars judging panel since the show’s premiere in 2005.
It comes amid news of growing tensions and backstage chaos at the show.
Bosses have reportedly been fighting to quell the drama which has seen some professionals bemoaning their ‘lazy’ celebrity partners, while one drop out has left producers scrambling to find a last minute replacement.

‘This season is a s**t show,’ an insider told the Daily Mail. ‘They chose a few stars – and I use that term loosely – who just don’t want to put in the work. Some just don’t seem as committed as others have in the past.
