A female solo traveller has revealed why she thinks Las Vegas is the best destination for holidaying alone.
Carly Caramanna has visited the popular city many times over the last 15 years.
Known for its bright lights, casinos and wild parties – Las Vegas certainly knows how to draw in tourists from around the world.
For Carly, the city has become one of her favourite destinations, even when travelling alone, and for several reasons.
The travel reporter wrote in Business Insider how the dining options in Las Vegas are ‘incredible’.
She explained how she would sit at bar tops to chat with other people and meet chefs and bartenders
Carly insisted she ‘always felt safe when dining solo in Las Vegas’ but still used methods like not leaving her drink unattended.
Usually, she would avoid bars completely when alone, but makes an exception for fun, themed bars because of the ‘lively atmospheres’.

Carly also explained how Las Vegas has plenty of ‘gorgeous’ accommodation to stay in.
She mentioned Virgin Hotels Las Vegas as one of her top spots to stay, and explained when touring alone, she tends to ‘splurge’ on expensive places as it makes her feel more comfortable.
As for things to do during the day, Carly enjoys spending time by the pool in Vegas, but notes that she avoids day clubs which can get busy and loud.
She never runs out of new things to do there, despite going so regularly.
From discovering ‘hidden gems’ to exploring ‘local favourites’, Carly ‘loves’ trying different spots.
‘There’s always something new to discover in Las Vegas,’ Carly gushed. ‘And that keeps me coming back time and time again’.
She manages to find plenty of ‘unique experiences’ to enjoy in the city.
However, recently Sin City has seen a decline in tourists flocking to its colourful streets.

Some are blaming the impact of President Donald Trump‘s tariffs and trade policies, with travel costs now reportedly rising for tourists visiting the country.
Steve Hill, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority president, told KTNV Las Vegas: ‘Some of the decisions our administration has made around international relations [have] caused a drop in tourism.
‘Our international visitation is flat but is making up for a 20+% drop in tourism from Canada, which is our largest international source of visitation.
Now, fewer tourists are filling the usually bustling casinos, restaurants and bars.
