Austin Butler has purchased Brad Pitt‘s $5.2 million Los Feliz home, just three months after it was burglarized.
The 34-year-old Elvis star closed on the sale last Friday, TMZ reported.
Brad, 61, was in Tokyo on June 25, when perpetrators climbed the fence and entered the home through the front windows.
A source told The US Sun at the time, ‘Neighborhood security was at the house about an hour before it happened.’
The outlet’s insider noted, ‘He has personal security that was always there when he was in residence, but now he has guards there all the time. Locals did worry about the fact Brad didn’t put up a good fence or a hedge, and the home was fairly easy to access.’
The Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood actor subsequently beefed up security at the residence.

It was added that ‘as soon as the neighborhood security was off shift, three guys jumped [the fence]. It was really unfortunate.’
Three burglars reportedly ransacked the property for about 10 minutes before fleeing with an unknown amount of Brad’s possessions.
In August three suspects were arrested after evidence gathered in connection with an alleged attempted break-in of a separate home implicated them.
Dubbed ‘The Steel House,’ Austin’s new home is 2,000 sq ft, L-shaped, and has just three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Amenities include a swimming pool and built-in sauna, and the home has floor-to-ceiling windows.
Brad had moved from a $33 million home in the same area when he bought the smaller mid-century house from Aileen Getty in April 2023.
The New York Post reported earlier this month that he purchased a $12 million Hollywood Hills mansion with upgraded security features.
His new 8,385-sq-ft Spanish-style estate boasts six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a theater, fire pit and pool.

However, the outlet emphasized that the security features are what got Brad’s attention.
‘He wanted somewhere that could provide an optimal security system and privacy and this place caught his eye,’ a source told The Post.
‘Long before his home was burglarized, security was always a priority,’ the insider said about Brad.
And the outlet noted that the Wall Street Journal reported the sprawling residence was previously owned by The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning and wife Emilie.
