The UK’s best value theme parked has launched the country’s biggest light show – and it promises to feature impressive fire and water displays.
Drayton Manor has announced it upcoming end-of-day extravaganza, which is set to begin next month.
The site – which was named the UK’s best value theme park for the fourth year running in the UK Theme Park Awards – will host the light show across its lake.
The first display will take place on October 25, combining a 30-metre water screen, more than 65 water jets, bursts of fire, vibrant lights and animated projections.
The initial show will have a ‘Monsters and Magic’ theme – in line with the park’s schedule of Halloween entertainment.
The show is included in the price of a day ticket.
Its theme will adapt to suit seasonal events throughout the year.
Working alongside leading industry experts, CRYSTAL – the team behind the Paris Olympics opening ceremony and other large-scale shows that involve water, lights, sound and video projection – the new show is set to be the biggest of its kind in the UK.

There will also be smaller pre-shows throughout the day, where fountains will launch above the lake, with a musical background playing.
