It was a family affair worthy of rock royalty as Duran Duran turned out in force at the weekend for bassist and founding member John Taylor’s daughter Atlanta de Cadenet’s wedding celebrations in Sicily.
Model turned fashion PR guru Atlanta, 33, married Canadian musician David Macklovitch, 47, in a glamorous ceremony and party on the Italian coast, just days after the pair legally tied the knot in an intimate courthouse service in Brooklyn.
The star-studded gathering saw the British pop rock band jet in for the festivities, with John’s wife, Juicy Couture co-founder Gela Nash-Taylor, 71, sharing images from the celebrations on Instagram.
One striking shot captured Atlanta in a strapless gown with a sweeping veil standing beside proud dad John, 65, with a rainbow breaking over the sea behind them.
Another captured former actress Gela, who married John in 1999, looking impossibly fresh-faced as she posed next to her husband in a loose-fitted off-white dress.

Atlanta looked stunning as she posed beside her father at the wedding breakfast

Snaps from the day showed various looks, with Atlanta and her new husband posing with her famous dad in less formal but equally edgy looks
‘Here comes the BRIDE BABY’ Gela captioned the post. ‘What an insanely EPIC WEDDING in Bellisima Sicilia …what a GORGEOUS CELEBRATION OF pure LOVE ❤️ wishing them a lifetime of LOVE & HAPPINESS.’
Atlanta’s mother, British photographer and 90s TV darling Amanda de Cadenet, 53, was also in attendance as her only daughter with John celebrated her marriage.
Amanda, who was married to John for four years until 1995, was one of the most recognisable presenters of the early 1990s with stints on The Word and The Big Breakfast.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in the mid-90s, she has forged a successful career as a photographer and author while raising Atlanta and, now, her 18-year-old twins with husband Nick Valensi of The Strokes.
Atalanta’s wedding comes just weeks after another Duran Duran offspring walked down the aisle. Earlier this month, drummer Roger Taylor’s daughter Ellea tied the knot in her own romantic ceremony, with the band also rallying together to celebrate.
Makeup artist Ellea, 33, married her long-term boyfriend, bodybuilder and personal trainer Shiro Miller, in a breathtaking castle ceremony surrounded by family, friends – and of course, the iconic band themselves.

Atlanta proudly flashed her ring finger in a racy lace mini dress

At Atlanta’s Italian wedding at the weekend, her dad John, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes were pictured but there was no sign of Simon. Under Gela’s post, comments poured in asking, ‘Where’s Simon?’ – though neither the singer nor his bandmates offered an explanation.

Ellea – daughter of Roger’s ex-wife, Giovanna Cantone – looked radiant for her big day in a strapless ivory gown with a sweeping train and delicate veil.
Fans were quick to notice that on both occasions, frontman Simon Le Bon was conspicuous by his absence.

Atlanta and Dave’s big Italian bash followed their low-key but stylish courthouse ceremony in New York earlier this month, where the bride wore a vintage-inspired Chanel-style mini dress with a matching veil and bow, and the groom a tuxedo.
The Sicilian celebrations were decidedly more extravagant, with the bride changing into multiple looks including a white lace mini dress paired with cat-eye sunglasses and a chic headscarf.
Duran Duran posed up a storm with the newlyweds, with several members donning dark shades as they stood arm-in-arm with Atlanta.

Atlanta has often spoken about growing up with rock-star parents – and once quipped that she would try not to date musicians. ‘I try and avoid them but it just keeps happening,’ she admitted in 2012. ‘I get it, you know. But I’m very unimpressed by most musicians. Like, unless you’re really good, don’t care.’
Her new husband Dave, who fronts the Grammy-nominated electro-funk duo Chromeo, clearly made the cut.
Duran Duran, who formed in Birmingham in 1978, are still going strong nearly five decades later. The group recently wrapped a string of summer tour dates across Europe and will hit the road again next month before embarking on a run of US tour dates in early 2026.

It has been a string of joyous moments for Duran Duran of late, after Roger’s daughter Ellea tied the knot earlier this month
But it was Roger, 65, who found himself the centre of attention.
Once crowned Britain’s fifth most eligible bachelor by the high society magazine Tatler in 2004 – in a list that also included Prince William and Hugh Grant – he sported a healthy head of brown hair and cut a dashing figure in a classic black tuxedo as he escorted his daughter down the flower-lined pathway.
Bosses behind Duran Duran’s Instagram account shared pictures of the wedding – held on Monday in the mother of the bride’s home country, Italy – with the caption: ‘Ellea + Shiro September 1, 2025’.
