She is the queen of dropping telling ‘easter eggs’ in her work, hinting at future projects and surprises – nothing is accidental when it comes to Taylor Swift.
And the release of her new album is no exception, with a special emphasis held on the date it is brought out, October 3.
Fans have just hours to wait until the American singer, 35, releases The Life Of A Showgirl, which includes 12 new tracks, the titles of which have already been revealed.
The date seemingly holds several special meanings for Taylor, including personal and symbolic reasons that she has chosen it as the day of release.
She has previously noted that 13 is her favourite number, and 3/10 adds up to 13.
Despite the number being widely recognised as ‘unlucky’, Taylor said she has a lifetime of coincidences and positive occurrences associated with it.

This includes being born on the 13th of the month, turning 13 on Friday the 13th and her first album went gold in 13 weeks, among many other instances.
Talking about her reason for the date, Taylor said on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Height’s podcast: ‘It’s easy to remember, it’s 10-3.
‘Never not annoying. Always going to try to force a 13 into the situation, and this one was right there.’
She also told MTV News: ‘I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks.
‘My first No 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I’ve won an award, I’ve been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter.
‘Basically, whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it’s a good thing.’
October is also an important month to the global star, who has previously released five other studio albums during the month.
This includes her first record Taylor Swift, Speak Now, 1989, Red and Midnights.

October 3 also marks National Boyfriend Day, which garnered attention last year when Taylor released merch about a song coined about her fiance Travis.
The date is also near a string of his family member’s birthday; his mother Donna’s birthday is on October 9 while Travis’s own birthday is on October 5 and his niece Wyatt was born on October 2.
Something else that fans have picked on is that October is ‘Mean Girls Day’, which Taylor is no doubt sure her fans are aware of.
The day is a reference to a scene from the cult classic, where Lindsay Lohan’s Cady Heron is asked what day it is by her love interest Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett).
This can be associated with Taylor due to her song Mean (2011), which was later covered by one of the films stars, Amanda Seyfried.
