A recent snapshot of Chris Hemsworth‘s Byron Bay mega mansion has revealed a quirky feature fit for a superhero.
The Thor star, famed for his next-level fitness regime, has seemingly built a custom-designed rock climbing wall on the home’s exterior — and it’s quite imposing.
A close-up shot of the sprawling mansion, dubbed Fortress Hemsworth, revealed colourful climbing holds scattered across the exterior wall, with beams at the top for harness attachment.
The state-of-the-art climbing wall stretches the full height of his three-storey, $50million home, which he bought with his wife Elsa Pataky in 2014 for $7million.
They demolished the original eight-bedroom house in 2017 to begin building their mega-mansion.
Completed over two years, the home boasts six bedrooms, a spa, games and media rooms, and expansive outdoor living spaces.

What’s more, Hemsworth created a state-of-the-art training facility on the property called The Shed for his fitness brand, Centr.
Chris founded the subscription-based fitness app in 2019, offering content that includes workouts, meditation, diets, and recipes.
The app charges $135 per year or $29 per month.
Speaking to realestate.com.au, Hemsworth’s personal trainer and business partner, Luke Zocchi, explained that the facility serves as a space for Centr trainers to test new workouts and equipment while also having fun.
He emphasised that no expense was spared in creating the cutting-edge facility, which was designed by Hemsworth and his team.
‘It’s definitely next level,’ Zocchi said.
‘Chris made sure to include the latest and greatest Centr equipment in the gym.’
The impressive ‘home-gym’ also features dedicated spaces for agility training and plyometrics, as well as a sauna and ice baths for post-workout recovery.

Hemsworth recently revealed he eats eight to ten meals per day to prepare to play Marvel hero Thor.
The Australian icon is currently gearing up to star once again as the Old Norse God in the eagerly anticipated 2026 movie Avengers: Doomsday.
‘Honestly, when I am training to get into shape for Thor, I can eat up to eight meals per day,’ he told The Mirror.
‘I’m consuming 4,000 calories a day… obviously it’s good stuff – not pizza & cheesburgers – but yeah I need to consume a lot of calories.’
The Mad Max favourite accompanies his bulking diet with a gruelling gym workout, with his double stunt Bobby Holland Hanton revealing Chris hits the gym even ‘two or three times a day when he is preparing to play Thor’.
‘I’m eating eight to ten meals a day, which is a decent meal every two hours,’ the Ragnarok star told fitness app Centr.
