Bad Bunny took on hosting duties for SNL‘s season 51 premiere – and the rapper’s opening monologue was humorously crashed by Jon Hamm.
The 31-year-old music artist – who is set to headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show early next year – reflected on his recent Puerto Rican residency and talked about the celebrities who had also been attendance.
A few months earlier in August, Hamm went viral after footage showed him grooving at Bad Bunny’s concert.
At the time, the Mad Men alum donned a bucket hat and patterned shirt while also holding a drink in his hand as he showcased his dance moves.
‘Some celebrities came to my show. Few of them were on drugs,’ Bad Bunny told the live audience. ‘And I don’t want to say who, but this was Jon Hamm.’
The reel was then played, causing the crowd to erupt into laughter. ‘Actually, that wasn’t Jon Hamm, that was Juan Jamon,’ the star joked.

The camera then cut to Hamm in the live audience as he flashed a big smile while mimicking the dance moves.
The actor also sported the same outfit he had worn to the concert as the audience broke out into applause over the surprise cameo.
‘I think he’s obsessed with me,’ Bad Bunny added.
The music artist also poked fun at his own choreography during his performances on stage.
‘I just finished a 31-show residency in Puerto Rico and I’m still kind of tired because the shows are three hours long and there’s a lot of complicated choreography,’ he explained.
A short video then showed the rapper slowly jumping from left to right rather than doing complicated dance moves.
‘That looked simple, but that took me a long time to learn,’ Bad Bunny told the crowd. ‘Trust me.’
The rapper also referenced to his upcoming headlining gig at the Super Bowl Halftime Show next year in February.

‘Anyway, you might not know this, but I’m doing the Super Bowl Halftime Show. And I’m very happy, and I think everyone is happy about it.’
The star also shared, ‘And I know that people all around the world who love my music are also happy.’
Bad Bunny then began to speak in Spanish, with people from the live audience continuing to cheer in response.
He briefly paused and instead of translating, he jokingly added, ‘And if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.’
The performer had the chance to show off his comedic skills while appearing a number of skits throughout the night.
In one, Bad Bunny played a character named Thomas who was joining his pals for brunch to catch up.
The group talked about films that they want to see, such as Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest movie One Battle After Another as well as Netflix’s Frankenstein.
The rapper then said he enjoyed the animated movie KPop Demon Hunters – which dropped on Netflix in August.

However, Bad Bunny passionately added, ‘Actually, it’s not cool, dog. In KPop Demon Hunters, songs are not just songs, but weapons’
One of his friends asked if he had watched it with his kids, but Bad Bunny said he didn’t have any kids and watched it on his own.
He then explained to the group, ‘It’s actually not for kids but for smart adults.’
They changed the topic to music, and Bad Bunny admitted that he loved the music from KPop Demon Hunters.
‘You like the songs, too? That’s cool Thomas,’ one his pals said.
However, Bad Bunny passionately added, ‘Actually, it’s not cool, dog. In KPop Demon Hunters, songs are not just songs, but weapons.’
‘Weapons?’ one friend asked, and the rapper replied, ‘Duh, what else is going to save you from demons, you idiots?’
After they began to get into a heated exchange, the star zoned out of the conversation. His thoughts then could be heard out loud: ‘Those dumb idiots have no idea, stupid dummies. I don’t care if they believe me. I have HUNTR/X on my side.’
HUNTR/X is the fictional K-Pop group in the movie.
Suddenly, Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami – the trio behind the fictional group – then also popped up in his head as they belted out lyrics to the hit track Golden.

Bad Bunny was pulled back into the conversation as his pals talked about serious matters going on in their lives – but his thoughts kept being drawn to the world of KPop Demon Hunters.
But then the Demon Jinu – played by Bowen Yang – appeared inside the restaurant.
‘Oh my God!’ one of the friends exclaimed. ‘Does he have a gun?’
Yang then replied, ‘Even worse, I have a voice,’ before taking out a microphone and singing.
