Nestled in the rolling Perthshire hills, the championship courses at the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments.
But this weekend it welcomed Justin Bieber – who battled the driech Scottish weather near the Highlands as he chipped and putted his way around the iconic greenery.
The Canadian popstar, 31, navigated the course with the help of a golf buggy, before concluding his perfect evening with a beer in St Andrews – an area steeped in British and royal history.
Sharing a series of snaps to his social media, the Yukon hitmaker stopped to pose beneath the sunset with a bottle of Innis and Gunn, which is brewed just 50 miles south in Edinburgh.
Bieber appeared to give the Scottish beer his seal of approval, displaying a keen thumbs up which he paired with a cheesy grin.
In a weekend spent with his entourage – away from his wife Hailey and one-year-old son Jack Blues – Bieber enjoyed an afternoon tea in the five-star luxury hotel before treating guests to an intimate piano rendition of one of his newest songs.

Bieber’s Scotland solace comes after he previously made a jibe about ditching the music industry for a career in golf.
And after releasing his latest albums Swag and Swag II in July and September, the popstar has been spotted practicing on exclusive courses in California where he lives with Hailey and Jack Blues.
So with a potential future career in mind on the course, it made sense that Bieber would visit the home of golf – even if he did have to wrap up with a Saltire beanie hat and a windbreaker jacket.
After playing at Gleneagles, the singer then made his way to Castle Course in St Andrews, where he and his entourage braved battering Storm Amy – which ravaged Scotland over the weekend.
Despite some nearby homes being left without power thanks to the storm, Bieber and his pals managed to make their way round the 18 holes which hosted the Dunhill Links Championship at the weekend, where celebrities are paired with pro-golfers.
Though he didn’t compete in the tournament, Bieber was nearby as Robert MacIntyre claimed the winning prize of just under £700,000 as the Ryder Cup hero took home the trophy in his home country.
The weather was so bad that play was even suspended during Saturday’s events, but an undeterred Bieber braved the conditions and stopped for a few more pictures.

During his trip, one astonished fan took to TikTok to share her shock at meeting the singer in Scotland.
She and her husband had been enjoying their honeymoon at the lavish Gleneagles resort when they met Bieber, saying he was ‘very nice’ but did not want to bother him for a photo because he seemed ‘very peaceful’.
Coincidentally, the woman explained how she later realised he had taken and posted a photo from the breakfast room on his Instagram, and she and her husband could be seen in the background.
Bieber also shared a laugh with his friends online as they tried to make a fast food drive-thru order late at night.
His jovial display in Scotland comes less than a week after he was spotted looking somber in Los Angeles on Tuesday after surfacing for the first time since his ex Selena Gomez tied the knot with Benny Blanco.
Bieber and his wife were trolled by fans after the actress said ‘I do’ to the record producer.

While Bieber was on his getaway, Hailey was also active on social media – sharing a glimpse of their toddler with snaps captioned ‘Jacktober’ alongside a lantern pumpkin emoji.
She started the carousel of images with the tot dressed in a pint-size hoodie with a printed image of his dad in his early days of pop stardom.

To mark the joyous milestone, Hailey took to Instagram to share two professional photos taken of her and her son.
She wrote in her caption at the time: ‘1 year of you my beautiful boy. Happy 1st Birthday Jack Blues, you are joy personified.’
The Biebers celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in September.
And they’re both currently riding career highs — the Canadian crooner has been tapped to headline Coachella 2026, becoming the highest paid act in the music festival’s history.
For her part, Hailey’s skincare range was acquired by e.l.f. Cosmetics earlier this year in a $1 billion deal.
