First responders rushed to a Hollywood Hills residence, which U2 frontman Bono is an investor in, after receiving a 911 call about an alleged stabbing on the property on Thursday.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the report at 1:20pm PT and an investigation was immediately launched, a spokesperson for the department confirmed to TMZ.
Photos obtained by Daily Mail showed police cars parked at the entrance of the home’s long, winding driveway.
A fire engine and an ambulance were then dispatched to the home, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, and a helicopter was captured circling the area.
While details surrounding the reported but unconfirmed stabbing are unclear, the property is believed to be an active construction site with only construction workers expected at the property on Thursday.
As for Bono, TMZ reports that the rockstar was not involved in Thursday’s incident and is currently out of the country.

Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for both the LAPD and Bono for comment but has yet to hear back.
Sources shared that Bono is just one of many investors who have stake in the Hollywood Hills property, which is up for sale but not listed publicly on the MLS.
Professionals in the LA real estate industry are said to be aware of the home being shown to potential buyers off-market.
Bono was first revealed to be an investor in the massive Hollywood Hills home back in November 2023.
The architectural marvel is located high up on a hill overlooking West Hollywood’s Fairfax Avenue, making it visible to those commuting to busy Hollywood Blvd.
It is being designed by renown architect Noah Walker and developed by Plus Development Group, as previously reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Plus Development Group was co-founded by Tyrone McKillen, who is the son of Bono’s billionaire business partner, Paddy McKillen.
Bono and Paddy — who faced major legal trouble earlier this year — famously co-own a whisky distillery in Ireland.

The property boasts a triangular-shaped main house with what appears to be a long, rectangular pool and a multi-level guest house.
At the time, a neighbor told THR that Bono had been spotted checking up on construction at the property on several occasions in 2023.
When his connection to the project was revealed, Bono was in the midst of U2’s 40-date Las Vegas residency at The Sphere.
The residency wrapped in March 2024, earning the group a reported $1 million per concert.
Bono has kept a relatively low-profile since U2’s time in Las Vegas.
But the singer did release a documentary, Bono: Stories Of Surrender, in May 2025, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
Before that, Bono was among 19 individuals who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom by U.S. President Joe Biden before Donald Trump took office in January 2025.
