There is a historic London bar where visitors can get a free drink every day, but there’s a catch.
It boasts high ceilings, characterful brick walls and original arched windows, and is tucked away in King’s Cross St Pancras Station.
Booking Office 1869 can be found in St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and used to be a ticket office.
Now, instead of issuing train tickets, the building is still bustling with customers but serves drinks.
It looks slightly different, too, and has animal print chairs, gold decorations and tall palm trees that nearly touch the ceiling.
The bar still has some plenty of original features, including train tickets that were issued decades ago.
Guests can grab a free drink from Booking Office 1869, but they have to be there at a certain time.
In a TikTok video, Sima, @thecuriouspixie, shared the trick to bagging the beverage at ‘exactly 5.05pm’.

‘A bell rings and a flame ignites and a bartender will perform a full rum punch ritual,’ she explained.
She added: ‘Why 5.05pm? Well the hotel opened on May 5, 1873 but the booking office opening in 1869, that’s where the name comes from.’
The travel content creator shared that the bar felt like ‘having a cocktail in a time machine’.
The video attracted plenty of comments and one person shared they enjoy another drink after the freebie.
‘I love it here and follow this with their margarita,’ she penned.
Others were keen to try the tip out for themselves and one person commented: ‘Amazing! I live a short walk from St. Pancras Station.
‘This is one of my favourite spots things about living in Central London.
‘There is a never ending list of experiences to discover!’

While another added: ‘Thank you for the tip – I shall be visiting!’
‘Would really love to experience this,’ someone else chimed in.
In another comment, Sima confirmed that the free drink ritual happens ‘every day’ at the bar.
Someone asked if guests have to buy a drink to get the freebie, and the content creator replied: ‘As long as you’re in the bar and tbh only fair to be there to buy a drink too not just to get a free one.’
