Khloe Kardashian allegedly needed assistance to figure out how to send a DM on TikTok, according to one of the co-founders behind Taylor Swift-approved beauty brand Fazit.
Nina LaBruna, who co-created the wildly popular glitter freckles brand, caught the attention of the 41-year-old television personality and businesswoman last week.
In an Instagram upload, Khloe posted a series of photos which revealed her daughter, True, seven and her niece Dream, eight, wearing the glitzy make-up stickers on their faces.
After seeing the reality star’s brood supporting the brand, LaBruna celebrated by calling her mom to share the news, capturing the moment in a video.
She then posted that video on her TikTok, prompting Kardashian to respond in the comments.
According to LaBruna, Kardashian then reached out again via direct message – although she supposedly needed some help in getting there.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail at Fazit’s documentary premiere cocktail party at Ludlow House in Manhattan on Thursday night, LaBruna claimed that she was Kardashian’s first ever TikTok direct message.
‘She was like, “I had to figure how to DM on TikTok. I had to ask someone to show me how to use DMs,”‘ Nina claimed.

LaBruna’s interaction with Khloe came after the Kardashian sister, who is mom to daughter True and three-year-old son Tatum, saw her TikTok video in which she raved over Khloe’s interaction with Fazit.
‘She commented on that video, being like, “Oh my gosh, my kiddos love that” and then I responded back thanking her for being so gracious and kind and for even replying to my video,’ LaBruna continued.
‘And then we’ve just been communicating a little back and forth.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Kardashian for comment.
LaBruna added that it has been ‘so validating’ having huge celebrities pay attention and lean into the brand.
Fazit launched on April 30, 2024, with the Stardust Speckle Makeup Patches, which are designed to be ‘long-lasting, sweat proof, and waterproof, making them perfect for everything from festivals to football games.’
The brand was then catapulted into the spotlight after Swift wore the $16 glitter freckles to her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium game last October.
Swift wore the glitter freckles for the second time earlier this month.

‘She doesn’t realize that by choosing to wear a small female founded brand, the doors that she’s opened for us and the leverage that she’s given us,’ LaBruna’s co-founder Aliett Buttelman told the Daily Mail of Swift.
‘She has given us that stamp of credibility by saying, “I love this, so should you.” She’s been so amazing.’
While they’ve already got Kardahian and Swift’s interest piqued, LaBruna and Buttelman have vowed this is only the beginning for Fazit.
‘We’re entering all sports and all sorts of niche categories,’ they enthused. ‘We’re just at the beginning of this and there’s so much more to go.’
