To celebrate the long August Bank Holiday weekend, this crisp giant is promising thousands of fans free packs of Smokin’ BBQ Sauce if a spot of drizzle is recorded.
The meaty new flavour launched in supermarkets across the UK earlier this week after years of public demand.
For reasons unknown, Walkers quietly phased out fan favourite BBQ Rib some years ago, leading to petitions and protests to reinstate the flavour.
Despite its revival as part of the Walkers Flavours of the Decades collection, it somehow failed to recapture its original appeal.

Now, the smoky addition will be joining Walkers’ core range, and is now available in single packs, multipacks and grab bags at specified supermarkets across the UK, having made its debut on August 19.
This weekend, however, fans can try out the smoky new addition for free if it happens to rain.
To get involved, all Walkers fans need to do is visit the promotional website here and sign up with their full name, email address and phone number.
Those who do will then receive a digital voucher code via text message.
Those signed up will receive a second text message to alert them that the voucher is now active for redemption.
From there, all you need to do is wait for first drop of rain to land somewhere in the UK this Bank Holiday Weekend, as tracked through the Met Office.
The first 10,000 lucky people to redeem their activated vouchers will have successfully bagged themselves a free multipack of the delicious new crisp flavour – so you need to be quick!
