While Baroness Karren Brady shocked fans with her new look this week, the straight-talking businesswoman’s cutting comments and cold daggers remain the same.
Karren, 56, has been by Lord Alan Sugar‘s side in The Apprentice boardroom ever since joining the show 15 years ago.
While business tycoon Alan, 78, is widely known for his savage putdowns in the BBC programme’s high-intensity boardroom, Karren also doesn’t pull punches.
Karren has previously been under-fire for her behaviour on The Apprentice – and was even accused of ‘bullying’ in 2023 after she reduced two contestants to tears.
During the awkward scenes, which aired during the show’s interviews stage, the West Ham United chief executive was so irked at a contestant using her first name that she replied: ‘It’s Baroness Brady to you, my friends call me Karren.’
Shortly after the interview aired she was backed by her loyal friend Alan Sugar and BBC bosses.

Karren’s looks have evolved too and she appears to be ageing backwards, according to experts as she showed off her ultra-thin waist this week
When she was awarded the title in 2017, Karren humbly insisted to the candidates on that year’s series she could still be referred to by simply her name.
In another toe-curling clip from 2023, Karren left a hopeful in tears when she told her: ‘You didn’t think you’d get this far, you don’t have faith in yourself?’
While her stern lip remains the same, Karren’s look has not, with the star’s transformation blatant for all to see.
In early snaps from her first few series on The Apprentice, Karren showcased her curves in her smart but figure-hugging corporate outfits.
But as the show has progressed, Karren’s looks have evolved too and she appears to be ageing backwards, according to experts.
In recent years, her figure has trimmed, with her face becoming more chiseled and defined – though last year she denied taking weight-loss drugs to the Daily Mail but admitted to ‘losing quite a bit’ of weight.
Earlier this week Karren shocked fans with her latest social media snap, showing off her ultra-slim frame as she rocked an embroidered white summer dress with a Chanel belt clinching her tiny waist.
While her fans accused her of using weight-loss jabs like Ozempic, others claimed she looked ‘completely different’.

She previously underwent a £3,500 ‘invisible facelift’ to expel her ‘dreaded jowls’ and address the lower part of her face, which had started to ‘drag’

The mum-of-two is known for delivering stern, cold and disapproving stares during her time as Lord Sugar’s aide, sending daggers across the desk to contestants.

Karren has been open to her social media following about the skin procedures she’s underwent, including a recent skin-tightening therapy.
‘I never thought I’d have the confidence to wear short sleeves again, but after a course of Exion skin tightening with radio frequency, I can,’ Karren wrote to her 200,000 followers.
She continued: ‘Exion uses radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound to naturally boost hyaluronic acid by up to 224 per cent, while stimulating collagen and elastin for smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin – all with no needles, no pain, and no downtime. Bring on the sleeveless tops!’
While viewers have been ruffled by Karren’s tough approach to entrepreneurs on The Apprentice, she isn’t afraid of upsetting BBC bosses.
Earlier this year she revealed how she only remains on the business programme for her close friend Alan – declaring she will quit if he ever leaves.
She told The Sun: ‘Look, just to be clear, I only do this show because of Alan. He’s been my friend for 20 plus years, probably 30.
‘I do it because I like working with him, I love working with Tim, and it’s a great show to be part of.’

Karren rarely speaks about her weight, though last year did tell the Mail On Sunday how she doesn’t weight herself but thinks she has lost more than a stone and explained her recent weight-loss was triggered by becoming a grandmother

Karen, pictured with Tim Campbell on The Apprentice, previously revealed she only remains on the show out of loyalty to her pal Alan Sugar (pictured in 2023)
Karren rarely speaks about her weight, though last year did tell the Mail On Sunday how she doesn’t weight herself but thinks she has lost more than a stone and explained her recent weight-loss was triggered by becoming a grandmother.
She explained: ‘I have been on a health kick, I became a grandma, and I wanted to be a fit healthy grandma, so I started eating healthy and exercising.
‘I haven’t joined [the Ozempic Club] – bloody hard work. It is okay losing it, it is keeping it off.
‘I have lost quite a bit – I don’t know though as I don’t weigh myself. I feel better for it. It is good because everything you put on fits.’
When she joined The Apprentice in 2010, Karren revealed her vulnerability about her looks on TV, saying she worried she looked ‘posh and fat’.
She added: ‘I’ve spent 20 years battling my weight. Alan’s so fit and slim I look huge in comparison.’
Commenting on Karren’s youthful look this week, Dr Ross Perry, Medical Director of Cosmedics skin clinics, told Daily Mail: ‘A small amount of Botox around the eyes and forehead appears to have softened any fine lines, while carefully placed fillers may have helped maintain volume in the cheeks, something that’s often lost with significant weight loss. Rather than a hollow or sunken look, her face remains plump and youthful.
‘In addition, it wouldn’t be surprising if she’s undergone regular laser treatments to reduce pigmentation and sun damage, helping to keep her complexion smooth and even.
‘Non-invasive treatments like Profhilo, which boosts hydration and collagen production, could also be playing a role in maintaining that healthy, glowing skin.’
