Paris Hilton is looking back to 20 years ago when she was a star on the rise.
The 44-year-old blonde beauty was often seen partying with friends such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, whom the New York Post famously called ‘bimbos.’
Now the mother-of-two has told the fall/winter issue 375 of I-D magazine that the press was often ‘abusive’ to her and her circle of celebrity pals.
‘During the 2000s, the media was so misogynistic—they would target certain girls, and there was a small group of us that they would constantly berate and abuse,’ said the Simple Life star.
‘It was extremely difficult to grow up in that way, having those few people who controlled the media control our storylines.’
