Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger was seen shopping at a Costco just hours after brutally murdering four University of Idaho students.
CCTV captured the 30-year-old former criminology student casually entering a store on the morning of November 14, 2022, just hours after carrying out the grisly attack.
The night before, Kohberger had broken into an off-campus rental home in Moscow, Idaho, where he fatally stabbed Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
The footage, first obtained by crime podcaster Gray Hughes and shared by NewsNation on Friday, shows Kohberger walking into the membership-only warehouse club, where he is briefly stopped by an employee.
Wearing a button-down shirt and gray slacks, Kohberger appears to engage in a polite exchange with the store assistant before calmly leaving.
During the interaction, he is seen holding a water bottle in one hand while keeping his other hand in his pocket – seemingly attempting to conceal injuries sustained during the violent attack.
‘And interesting how he has his hand kind of in his left pocket. And that’s the hand that has the Band-Aid on it that was cut,’ NewsNation’s Ashleigh Banfield noted during a segment reviewing the footage.
‘So, trying to hide that as he’s walking around.’

Kohberger was seen with a wound on his hand in selfies taken after the murders.
That same morning, Kohberger was also spotted driving his white Hyundai Elantra outside a local coffee shop, though he did not appear to order anything inside.
Then, after a brief pause in the parking lot, he drove off.
Later that afternoon, he was seen once again – this time inside a supermarket, where he purchased a drink using the self-checkout kiosk.
The new video footage comes just months after Kohberger sensationally decided to plead guilty to the murders after years of maintaining his innocence.
In avoiding a jury trial, Kohberger has never had to reveal his motive for the brutal slayings.
He accepted a plea deal resulting in four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole, along with an additional ten years for burglary.

Since being incarcerated, Kohberger has reportedly complained about the food and harassment from fellow inmates, according to NewsNation.
On July 30, he filed an initial complaint claiming that other inmates were deliberately flooding their cells and subjecting him to ‘minute-by-minute verbal threats/harassment,’ documents obtained by NewsNation revealed.
In a follow-up statement on August 4, Kohberger reported receiving threats of sexual assault.
Meanwhile, the release of certain case files and crime scene photographs has been blocked after the victims’ families filed a lawsuit seeking to keep those materials sealed.
