Cheryl‘s ‘pain’ ahead of Liam Payne‘s first anniversary has been laid bare as she ‘just wants to focus on Bear now’ following her stalking hell.
She had claimed her killer stalker ‘scared her young child’, as he is jailed once again for breaching a restraining order.
Convicted killer Daniel Bannister, 50, ‘can’t stay away’ from the Girls Aloud star, 42, and has already spent time in prison for the same offence.
At Reading Crown Court on Tuesday, a judge sentenced him to 12 months in jail after he admitted a single charge of breaching a restraining order.
In a victim impact statement, Cheryl revealed she is ‘on edge every time I open my gate’.
Following the sentencing, sources close to Cheryl say she has been ‘in a really bad place’ but Bear is ‘her world’ and she wants to just focus on him, ahead of his father’s first anniversary.

The One Direction singer tragically fell to his death on October 16 last year while in a hotel in Buenos Aires.
A source close to Cheryl told The Mirror: ‘She’s of course relieved that he’s been jailed, and she just wants to focus on Bear now, but she also knows he started up again after the last time he was jailed too so it’s hard to totally move on.
‘But she’s a fiercely strong woman and Bear is her world, so he’s her only focus right now.’
The source added: ‘Everyone’s hoping she can concentrate on what’s important to her now, and be able to mark the anniversary of Liam’s death properly, without this horrendous thing weighing on her.’
Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Cheryl.
The Fight For This Love singer first met Liam in 2008 when he was just 14 and auditioning for X Factor.
After not succeeding, he returned in 2010 and became a member of One Direction.
The pair started dating in 2016, and welcomed their son Bear the following year.

Cheryl and Liam – pictured together in 2016 – started dating in that year, before welcoming son Bear in 2017 and splitting up the following year
However, the announced their breakup in 2018, with Liam posting on social media at the time: ‘We still have so much love for each other as a family.
‘Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.’
Meanwhile, earlier this week a clip of the singer in a 2019 documentary with Ant Middleton has been reposted on TikTok, where he shows how close he and Cheryl remained even after their split.
In the show, Ant Middleton & Liam Payne: Straight Talking, the pair travelled to Namibia for a hard-hitting survival adventure.
Ant then asked Liam about his relationship with Cheryl and Bear, and he said: ‘We found our own unique situation around things, and obviously it’s not the most normal situation in the world, granted.
‘At this stage in my life, what even is normal anymore. For the majority of it, my life’s really abnormal, so why would that be any different?’
As Ant asked whether he and Cheryl still ‘get on,’ Liam added: ‘We genuinely get on, for sure. There’s so many different parallels from life we can draw with each other, that I think help us in our situation.
‘I just hope she’s happy, more than anything. She deserves it, she’s worked really hard. She’s a great Mum.
‘And yeah, she just needs to find happiness in the right places.’

Later in the programme, Liam continued to speak about Cheryl, admitting she’s ‘always been there for him,’ and he still ‘wants to protect her.’
He added: ‘I was just worried that I would not be enough, to look after the both of them, do you know what I mean? That’s so important to me, and I slowly but surely.
‘As much as we’re not together, she’s one of the most important people, if not the most important person in my life.
‘Even though we’re not together together, Cheryl is always there for me, do you know what I mean? I’m lucky since I have someone who actually understands what it is I go through.
