Britain’s ‘poshest gym’ is planning to open more locations after receiving £75m in funding.
Upmarket fitness club Third Space said yesterday it will expand after backing from digital bank OakNorth.
The gym will open locations in London including in Queen’s Park, Chelsea and on Oxford Street amid a gym boom among health-conscious Brits.
Subscriptions to the existing 13 sites cost around £250 a month. Celebrities said to be among its 42,000 members include model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (pictured).
The company was founded by chocolate heir Joel Cadbury in 2001 and has been owned by US private equity firm KSL Capital Partners since 2021.
Chief executive Colin Waggett said: ‘This transaction marks another important milestone for Third Space as we scale across London.’
