US singer Harry Connick Jr. has been spotted at a slew of basketball games in Melbourne, cheering on his favourite team.
The former Australian Idol judge, 58, who is renowned for both his acting and singing abilities, was snapped at Rod Laver Arena on Friday and Sunday as he watched some exciting NBAxNBL games.
One game saw South East Melbourne Phoenix and New Orleans Pelicans go head to head, as the US team concludes their Australian tour on Sunday with a 127-92 win.
The tour marks the first time the NBA team has played Down Under and an excited-looking Harry was there to see every gripping moment.
Harry, who is a longtime supporter of the Pelicans, wore a green jacket over a grey shirt for the Friday game.
On Sunday, he cut a casual figure in a green long-sleeved, Henley shirt and relaxed brown slacks.

His signature luscious locks fell in wisps across his forehead as he boasted a light stubble on his lower face.
At both games, the 58-year-old was joined by his three daughters Georgia, Charlotte and Sarah Kate, whom he shares with his former Victoria’s Secret model wife of over 30 years, Jill Goodacre.
The One Fine Thing hitmaker took to Instagram over the weekend to gush about his team and their games in the cultural capital of Australia.
‘So fun tonite in Melbourne! so proud of my hometown!!! #nba @pelicansnba #melbourne @nba,’ he captioned the post.
Accompanying the caption was an array of pictures, with one showing NBA stars Zion Williamson and Trey Murphy towering over the Hollywood actor as they posed for a photo.
Harry beamed from ear-to-ear as he held onto Williamson’s number one basketball shirt post-game.
Another snap showed Harry looking radiant as he took in the exciting match with his family.
All three of Harry’s daughters relocated to Australia in 2023 after their dad landed a job as a judge on Australian Idol, opposite Kyle Sandilands.

‘Georgia and Kate had been there a couple of times when they were little, with me on tour. They always wanted to go back,’ Harry told People last year.
‘And then when Charlotte got down there, she loved it too.’
‘All three of them have their own careers and doing their thing, but this kind of worked out perfectly… which is pretty rare,’ he later told WHO magazine.
Georgia also told the publication that her days consist of going to the beach, enjoying ‘incredible’ food, and ‘exploring nature.’
In 2023, Harry was a judge on Channel Ten’s Australian Idol, alongside Kyle Sandilands and Meghan Trainor, but stepped down from the role the following year.
